General rules for all leather

Avoid water. Water can stain, stiffen, and weaken leather. If leather gets wet, blot gently and let air dry away from heat.

Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sun.

Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth.

Condition lightly and consistently, over-conditioning causes buildup.
Full grain leather (cowhide, veg tan, oil tan)

Wipe with a dry cloth.

For deeper cleaning, use saddle soap sparingly and infrequently.

Condition every 3 to 6 months, more often in dry climates.
